Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge 1

My two fellow Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator friends (Maree Sammut http://inksnpapers.blogspot.com/ and Adele Smith http://adele-smith.blogspot.com/) and I have decided to post a challenge each week to encourage us to experiment with new colour combinations and Stampin’ Up! ® products we may not have used yet! We will post a new challenge each week, and then put photos on our blogs a week later to show you what we came up with! We have decided to call it “Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge” because we believe our crafting keeps us sane by giving us time out from our hectic lives; and although our husbands might complain about us spending money on our love of craft, we firmly maintain “IT’S CHEAPER THAN THERAPY!”
This week's challenge is a colour AND stamp set challenge. We are using Stampin' Up! ®‘s colours: Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, and Melon Mambo; paired up with the lovely new Level 1 Hostess Stamp Set 'A Slice of Life' (from the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue). Make sure you come back next week to see what Maree, Adele and I each come up with; and why not have a go at the challenge yourself!

These cards are simple to create, so no experience is necessary. Places are limited to allow assistance as needed, so RSVP on litlrach75@gmail.com to reserve your seat!

Welcome to my blog!

Hi! I have been a Stampin' Up!® Independent Demonstrator for just over 3 years; and have been wanting to start a blog to share my ideas with my friends, fellow demonstrators and customers since I began........ Finally! I have taken the plunge!

For my first ever blog post I thought I'd share with you a scrapbooking layout I did recently for my Stamp and Scrap Club. This is a lovely group of six ladies that meet every six weeks and create a scrapbook layout and a card using products in a co-ordinated bundle (to the value of approx. $50) I have created for them from the hundreds of wonderful Stampin' Up!® products. Email me at litlrach75@gmail.com to find out more about the benefits of joining a Stamp and Scrap Club.

Last time we met we experimented with the "LOVE BIRDS" Simply Scrappin' Kit; the "SUBTLES" Designer Buttons; and "Early Espresso" 1/8" taffeta ribbon. Here's what I came up with to showcase one of the photos from Our Wedding Day- 8th January, 2000.

I hope you like it!
