We will be using the products in the bundle for our creations and will be making the following layout in your choice of in-colours. I love this layout, because it is so flexible- there are no set photo mats so you can put your heading wherever you wish, and use the background space how you like and can fit lots of photos on the double page:
Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade & Pear Pizzazz
Close up-Showing Rhinestone Jewels; In Colour Designer Series Paper & Stamped Cupcake Border

Blushing Bride, Poppy Parade & Concord Crush

Close up showing Pearl Jewels, In Color Designer Series Paper & Stamped Cupcake Border

I have the brand new Stampin'Up! 2011-2012 Catalogues ready to give you (VERY EXCITING!!!); and also, as a free gift for being a member of the club, you will receive a free 2010 Sale-a-bration Stamp Set "BLISS" which we will use to create a gorgeous card. I can't wait!!!

As it is our last get-together for Round 1 of Stamp Club, please let me know if you wish to continue for Round 2- there are so many great new products in the new catalogue, so I'm sure you'll all want to be in it once you see it!!!

If there is anyone else out there who would also like to join our great group, we meet every six weeks at my house on the Central Coast; all members receive a great bundle of co-ordinated Stampin' Up! products for $50 (but we get shares in large packs so you receive more variety for your money); plus you get a turn at spending the hostess money on products of your choice including a whole new range of exclusive products just for hostesses! email me: litlrach75@gmail.com for more information.

Have a great week! xx

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge 14

This week we are using a sketch from Scrapbook Etc:-

We are going to use the colour combo's from Stampin' Ups! Colour Coach for Bravo Burgundy, a colour I struggle to use....except for school photos as Max's uniform is Burgundy and Black.

The Creative Combo is Bravo Burgundy, River Rock & Baja Breeze.

The Sweet Set combination is Bravo Burgundy, More Mustard and Crumb Cake.

This will be another interesting challenge I'm thinking!

So check in next Monday to see what creations Adele, Maree and I can come up with. Have a great week xx

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge 13- My Creation

Well......I'm not really sure about this one. I had a bit of an experiment with Stampin' Up!'s Distressing Kit- I ripped, crumpled, inked, filed and sanded; and tried to distress the More Mustard Cardstock to look like old timber frames- not sure if I achieved that. I chose the combination of More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler and Baja Breeze; and used the corresponding printed papers from the Regals and Subtles Designer Series Paper stacks. I adhered the photos in the first page into a large square instead of having one 5 x 5" photo, and used the ninth 3 x 3" square for my journalling by ripping a  hole in my background cardstock and putting a piece of Baja Breeze behind it. This layout finishes off my photos from Dreamworld 2010 from Callenge 11, because, like Adele, I have trouble culling photos!
Don't forget to hop on over to Adele's and Maree's blogs to see what they've created, and enjoy the holidays!!!

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge 13

Here is the brief Maree gave us for this challenge:
  • Double 12 x 12" Layout
  • Page 1 is to have a title, one 5" x 5" photo, 2 or more embellishments.
  • Page 2 is to have nine 3" x 3" squares (can be a mix of photos, dsp, cardstock, embellishments and although I'm sure that a square layout comes instantly to mind, this doesn't have to be the case).
  • Colours are using the Baja Breeze combo's from the Colour Coach. Either-Creative Combo: Baja Breeze, Cajun Craze & Basic Gray
OR Sweet Set: Baja Breeze, More Mustard & Cherry Cobbler
So this challenge is a bit exciting...Check back next Monday to see what we ( Adele , Maree and I) all come up with!

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge 12- My Creation

Well, I got so excited when I saw the sketch for this layout, as it allowed me to tick off an idea that I've had for AGES from the list of many floating around in my head! The colours are not ones that I choose or usually use (and not colours that my boys wear often either as I buy their clothes and never choose these colours for them!), so I printed the photos of my cheeky monkeys in black and white to make the layouts look more co-ordinated and uniform. I enlisted the help of an online dictionary to find some adjectives that start with the boys' initials, and help describe their personality- that was quite a challenge, especially for Z! I am really happy with the way they have turned out, and  hope you like them too!
M is for Max

Z is for Zach

Don't forget to have a look at what Adele and Maree have created!

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge 11- My Creation

Well, there's a story behind this one! I raced ahead and finished my layout and stuck the horses on thinking I would put photos of Tim and I when we went on a rainforest horse riding adventure in queensland back in 1993.........I dug out my old albums, and found THE PHOTO- that's right there was only one, and it was taken back in the day when the camera had no zoom, and I was so small in the photo it looked like it had been taken from a plane flying overhead! As we are not really a horse-riding type of family, I found photos of the next best thing- horses on a merry-go-round at Dreamworld! Don't forget to check out Adele and Maree's creations and have a fabulous week!

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge 11

This week we are doing another sketch challenge combined with the colours Really Rust, Creamy Caramel and Sage Shadow (all now retired).  We are also all using the same papers from the retired ‘Outlaw’ dsp pack and the retired stamp set Wanted......so I guess this week we are having an all round RETIRED PRODUCT Challenge.

The sketch we will use is another lovely one from the talented Becky Fleck – this is designed as an 8 ½ “ x 11” layout but can easily be adapted to 12”x12”.

Can’t wait to see how these layouts turn out Adele n Maree!

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge 10- My Creation

Well I must say I really enjoyed having the chance to do something girly, but had to go back to 2002 to find photos that were girly enough! This layout showcases my wonderful cousins and gorgeous god-daughter who just celebrated her 18th Birthday! She is every bit as gorgeous as she was then and has grown into a beautiful young woman with a heart of gold! I have watercoloured this one, and have put a photo both with and without flash, but I think neither of them do it justice- it looks much better in real life! Hope you like it...
