This week we are doing a straight sketch challenge, so there are no colour guides to restrict or confound us just a guide to the placement of elements and a sense of the overall effect of the creation.  We will be inspired by this sketch from Makeesha Byl:-

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge 7- My Creation

This week we had to use the Stampin' Up! Colours Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Early Espresso and Pacific Point, with the following sketch:

I found this one really fun and easy to do- mainly I think because of the gorgeous photos I had to work with! These were Zach's preschool photos for this year, taken by the talented photographers at Sandpit Photos. They show off his love of the camera sufficiently I think! Hope you love it as much as I do!

Stamp & Scrap Club #5

It's almost time for our 5th get together for Stamp and Scrap Club (Friday 19th August @ 7:30pm). This month we will be using a bundle of co-ordinated goodies including the beautiful Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper and the Always Elegant Stamp Set. We will be making this gorgeous layout, and card that I think are perfect for formal occasions such as weddings, Engagements, Christenings, First Communions, etc. Can't wait to see you all!

Cheaper Than Therapy Challenge 7

This week we have selected another Colour combination to get the creative juices flowing! This is a combo that Stampin’ Up! recommend to their demonstrators. We have once more coupled these great colours with a sketch layout – this time from the Better Homes & Gardens "Scrapbook etc" magazine in the US.

We will be working with the colours – Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Early Espresso and Pacific Point.

Well I really enjoyed using the sketch by Becky Fleck for this one; and I FINALLY scrapbooked Max's Christmas Concert from his final year at Preschool (2008)! I am really happy with the end result, and will definately be using this sketch again!
